SIP & Goal-Based Investing
Start, step up, pause or stop a Systematic Investment Plan from ₹1,000 a month. One instruction, and the discipline of investing runs on its own.

Who this suits
Salaried investors who want to automate saving, and anyone attaching a rupee figure and a date to a specific goal — a house, a wedding, a degree.
What's included
- SIP amounts starting from ₹1,000 a month, debited automatically on a date you choose
- Step-up SIPs that increase your instalment each year in line with your income
- A goal is sized first — today's cost, years to go, expected inflation — then a monthly figure is worked backward from it
- Pause, redeem or top up at any time; there is no lock-in on the SIP instruction itself (scheme-level exit load and taxation still apply)
How it works
Size the goal
Today's cost, years to go, and an inflation assumption, worked into a single target figure.
Work backward to a monthly figure
The target is converted into a monthly SIP amount at a chosen assumed rate of return.
Set up auto-debit
A one-time NACH e-mandate with your bank means the instalment happens automatically, on a date you choose.
Step up & review
Increase the instalment yearly in line with your income, and review the goal itself every 6–12 months.
Frequently asked
Q.What if I miss an instalment?
One missed SIP instalment usually doesn't cancel the SIP — it simply skips that month. Repeated failures can lead the AMC to pause or cancel the mandate; check the specific scheme's policy.
Q.Can I pause a SIP temporarily?
Many AMCs offer a 'SIP pause' facility for 1–3 months. Where it isn't available, you can cancel and restart a fresh SIP instead.
Q.Is there a minimum tenure?
No enforced minimum tenure on the SIP instruction itself, though redeeming very early may attract exit load and short-term capital gains tax on that portion.
Q.What's a step-up SIP exactly?
An instruction that automatically increases your SIP amount by a fixed percentage or amount each year, so your saving rate keeps pace with your income.
